Site Removal/Replacement

Hello, everyone. I just wanted to let you guys know that the site http://thejacksonlearningservice.web.officelive.com has been removed. There were a lot of loading issues that happened. I am working on a replacement site now.

Truth Decay

Today's society has a severe case of truth decay. We often hear the phrase that the truth will set us free. However, what is that truth to is able to make free. The word of God is that truth. Jesus referred to himself as the way, the truth, and the life. Truth, to give, a definition can be state of being true or valid(my personal definition). We have to see the word of God and the bible as the truth and factual. This is where faith comes in at. Faith is believing in something or someone that shows no physical evidence. Next blog, I will talk a little more about truth decay. For more information, visit http://generationtext.webs.com.

Thanks for bearing with us and we appreciate your support.

What Black History Means?

So many great shoulders to stand on. So many voices with which to identify. I listen and stand. I am so grateful to those who have paved the way. The way to more opportunities and more awareness. I am currently a student majoring in Education and Public Policy. When I think of my opportunity to influence the educational system in such a way, I think of them. I think back to the case of Brown vs. Board of Education and the emergence of Thurgood Marshall as a leader in the early moments of the civil rights movement. This is the civil rights of all men, not just of those of color. Although the presence of racism and prejudice is still apparent, we still see momentum from the March on Selma. The bible tells us to love our neighbors as much as we love ourselves. Let us grow to that point and place. I was so happy to see the crowning of the leader of the free world this past election period. My being black is not the sole reason. I was glad to see white folks and other races clapping and cheering as well. So, let us remember that even though we may be different races and creed, the blood in our veins flows red.
