Consistent

I have put a new post on the page of my new website http://generationtext.webs.com/thewordoftheday.htm. Today's post talks about the word of the day being consistent. The definition of consistent, which is an adjective, means to "constantly adhere to the same principles." No matter how difficult or tiring life gets, we should be consistent in our characters and attitudes. Thanks and have a blessed day.

More Black Men In Jail Or College

I saw a disturbing video on Youtube last night talking about the plight that ails young black men in today's society. Most people old and young were asked the question of whether there are more black men in college or in jail today. I am sad to say that so many of the young black men in my community are in jail. I think that the young black man is so captivated by this materialistic society that doesn't do enough to promote manhood. Another reason is the breakdown in the family unit, which spawns so many problems within itself. Black men are maturing slowly because of a lack of role models and examples in their families and communities. We need to find a way to buck the trend and stop the decline of the black male, or all young men in our society.

Site Removal/Replacement

Truth Decay

Today's society has a severe case of truth decay. We often hear the phrase that the truth will set us free. However, what is that truth to is able to make free. The word of God is that truth. Jesus referred to himself as the way, the truth, and the life. Truth, to give, a definition can be state of being true or valid(my personal definition). We have to see the word of God and the bible as the truth and factual. This is where faith comes in at. Faith is believing in something or someone that shows no physical evidence.
